Clough Bottom Farm Stars in CBBC's 'Ed & Oucho's Excellent Inventions'
BBC Scotland paid a trip to Clough Bottom in August to film an episode of popular CBBC children's programme Ed & Oucho's Excellent Inventions. Looking for a 'picturesque farm location' we were recommended to the location crew, and after a visit they decided our location and farm buildings were just what they were looking for.
The 'excellent invention' featured local school girl Mollie's ingenious rainbow making machine, that consisted of a mirror ball and hose pipe, and storylines and filming took place over three days at our Outbarn and by one of our cowsheds. Ed and his cactus friend Oucho, along with Mollie and 12 of her friends enjoyed dancing along to Elvis tunes whilst eating doughnuts, culminating in all the children getting soaking wet under the hose!
The TV programme will be aired in January 2010.
