PAYMENTS
Deposits
- A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the holiday cost or £50 (whichever is greater) is payable on booking. The booking is only confirmed if the deposit is received within 10 days of the provisional booking being made.
- The full cost of the holiday is payable if the booking is made within 8 weeks of the start of the holiday
Balance
- The balance is due 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. No reminders will be sent.
- Should the balance not be sent, then it is assumed that the booking is cancelled and our Cancellations Policy is applicable

VAT

VAT is included the rental price.
Period of Hire

Rentals commence at 3pm on the day of arrival and terminate at 10am on the day of departure.
Cancellations
If you cancel a booking, we will endeavour to re-let the property.
- Should we re-let the property then you will not be liable to pay the balance, should it still be due. However, we are unable to refund the deposit already paid. If you have already paid in full, we will refund all money except the deposit.
- Should we not be able to re-let the property then you are still liable for all payments.

You may, of course, be covered for any loss by Holiday Cancellation Insurance. We strongly recommend that you take out holiday insurance.
Occupancy
- Bookings are accepted on the condition that no more than the maximum number of persons indicated shall occupy a property (excluding infants in cots).
- The property is designed for family holidays and we reserve the right to refuse any booking which may, in our opinion, by reason of composition of numbers be unsuitable for the property.
- You must not assign or part with possession of the property, part of it, or anything connected in it. Nor must you use the property for other than the holiday occupation of the person named on the booking.
Care of the Property
- Bookings are accepted on the condition that all reasonable care is taken with the property and its contents.
- The property must be left in a clean and tidy condition
- All damages and breakages must be reported promptly. It is your responsibility to reimburse us for replacement, repair or extra cleaning costs – whether reported at the time or discovered after departure.

All bedding (except for cot bedding) and towels are provided. Please do not take these out of the property.
Alterations to booking dates
- We will endeavour to accommodate a request for a change in date should the request be received more than 8 weeks before the commencement of the holiday and should the property be available. A £20 administrative charge is payable.
- Should we not be able to accommodate such a request and you wish to cancel your booking then our Cancellations Policy is applicable.
Complaints

If you have cause for complaint during your occupation of the property, please notify us promptly. Any complaint made after the holiday will not be considered as it cannot be fully investigated.
Liability
- No liability is accepted for any loss, damage, sickness or injury, expense or inconvenience which may be suffered or arise out of, or in any way be connected with the rental.
- Clough Bottom is a working farm. It is important that you take care of yourself and especially any children and do not enter any of the barns, go near any machinery or touch any equipment or materials in and around the farm.

If the property you have booked becomes unavailable or unusable for some reason prior to the start of the holiday then we will endeavour to find a suitable alternative property. Failing that, we will reimburse all monies.
Right of Entry
- You will permit the owner, with or without workmen or others, at reasonable times to enter, inspect and, if necessary, carry out repairs to the property.
