Clough Bottom Farm Cottages
The Cottages
Stylishly furnished and equipped with every modern facility, these lovingly converted stone-built farm buildings are perfect for small groups of family and friends looking for a relaxing self-catering cottage holiday - hidden away down a leafy country lane in the heart of the beautiful Ribble Valley, Lancashire.
Each of our three farm cottages has its own unique and distinct feel and charm: whether you’re looking for a sociable open plan lay-out, a cosy cottage with a wood burning stove or a picturesque patio area overlooking some of the finest countryside in Lancashire. The interior of each cottage has been designed to reflect the surroundings in which it rests, with the focus remaining on comfort, style and luxury. The sumptuous feel of the cottages is enhanced by the special attention to detail and designer soft furnishings, while we ensure that you have many restful hours of sleep in comfort on the luxury ‘Sealy’ beds, which grace each bedroom.
Larger groups can be equally well accommodated here at Clough Bottom. Adjoining Saddle Barn and Woodcutter’s Cottage can take up to 10 guests together with plenty of space to dine together around the pine refectory table in Saddle Barn.
For groups of up to 14, where all the cottages are booked together, Middle Barn is available to hire – a beautifully converted barn complete with stone floors (and the essential underfloor heating!), exposed beams and pine dining tables. It’s a fantastic setting for a celebration.
A welcome hamper and fresh flowers from the hedgerows around the farm will be waiting in your cottage. Linen and towels are included as are complimentary natural products in the bathrooms. And if, after a busy day walking, cycling or exploring you don't have the energy to prepare and cook dinner, then why not pop along to our farm pantry and enjoy some Food from the Farm? Freshly prepared in our farm kitchen using only local and seasonal produce (and our own farm produce!) you can choose a hearty, wholesome frozen ready meal from our seasonal menu - so all you need do is pop it in the oven and serve. We even have puddings, homemade jams, preserves and chutneys too!
