These terms apply to all bookings made for lodge accommodation at The Out Barn, whether part of a wedding stay or booked as a holiday.

1. Booking & Payment

A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance must be paid at least 5 days before check-in.
If you book within 5 days of your arrival date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Payment is handled securely via our booking platform and Stripe.

2. Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancellations more than 5 days before arrival: charged 20% of the total reservation cost.
Cancellations within 5 days of arrival: charged 50% of the total reservation cost.
No-shows: charged 100% of the total reservation cost.

Check-in: from 1:00pm, self-service via a lockbox code provided before arrival. If earlier check-in is possible, we will let you know.
Check-out: by 10:00am from the lodges and 12:00pm from The Hive (if applicable).
Late check-out may be available on request but is not guaranteed. A £50 late fee applies.

We do not take a security deposit; however, by booking, you authorise us to charge your saved card for any:
- Damage to the lodge or its contents
- Missing items
- Excessive cleaning required after your stay
We reserve the right to charge without prior notice but will provide supporting information and refund any charge if a misunderstanding arises.

Maximum 2 people per lodge.
No smoking inside the lodges.
No amplified music outdoors. The lodges are designed for quiet, peaceful stays.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Pets are allowed in two designated lodges only, upon request and subject to availability. All dogs must be kept on a lead due to livestock on site.

Lodges are often booked in conjunction with weddings at The Out Barn. If you are not attending the wedding, please note:
- You must not enter the wedding venue or its surrounding grounds on wedding days.
- If no wedding is taking place, you are welcome to enjoy the venue surroundings respectfully.
If you are attending a wedding:
- The Hive lodge is available for breakfast for wedding guests the following morning until 12:00pm.
- You must not bring alcohol from the lodges into the wedding venue. Breaching this will result in a £250 charge to the couple’s account.
- Please respect quiet hours and the privacy of other guests.

Guests are responsible for their own belongings. We are not liable for loss, damage or theft unless caused by our negligence.
We reserve the right to terminate a booking without refund for serious breaches of these terms, including misconduct or damage to property.
